Isolated Ultrasonic Necklift
About The Surgery
Ultrasonic neck lift surgery is not performed in the office, rather at a state-of-the-art, fully accredited, outpatient surgical center or hospital. Anesthesia is provided by physician anesthesiologists. The procedure is minimally invasive and takes less than 1 hour. Local anesthesia is added for patient comfort. The patient is discharged home with a cold compress to limit swelling and pain.
Most patients are comfortable with Tylenol following the surgery. Stronger pain medication is prescribed if necessary. Patients can usually resume normal activities within a couple of days. Most swelling and bruising is gone in less than a week. Patients are advised to refrain from strenuous physical activity and exercise for 6 weeks. Ultrasonic necklift is a nice alternative for patients who are not yet ready for a full facelift procedure.
Description
Ultrasonic Neck Lift is a unique procedure developed by Dr. Perez, incorporating his many years of experience and thousands of ultrasonic liposculpting procedures. Selected repeatedly as one of America’s Top Doctors, Dr. Perez’ extensive international travel and teaching have kept him up-to-date on the various techniques of facial rejuvenation.
The ultrasonic necklift is a less invasive neck tightening procedure for patients seeking to address laxity below the jawline only. It is a specially developed procedure combining the benefits of ultrasonic liposculpture, with skin and muscle tightening, all with minimal trauma and a limited scar under the chin.
It is important to emphasize that the ultrasonic necklift is not a full facelift and will not achieve any improvement above the jawline (see Face/Neck lift). Our mission is to customize surgery to each patient’s individual goals. We strive to achieve a natural looking result with emphasis on enhancing the patient’s own features. The ultrasonic neck lift procedure can be combined with eyelid surgery to further rejuvenate the aging face. Your individual needs and treatment options will be discussed honestly and thoroughly at the time of consultation.
Costs
Surgical fees vary depending upon the patient’s individual needs. The exact cost of surgery, including facility and anesthesia fees, are quoted at the time of consultation. However, patients should beware of the facelift infomercials and ads promising “amazing” results at a cheap price. They usually turn out to be just the opposite. If they’re good, why do they need to advertise so much?
